Meet Brenda Watkins, LMSW, PMP®
C-Suite Executive, Strategist, Innovator, Advocate
Brenda is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Kansas. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Friends University in 1990. Brenda began her professional career at Koch Industries in Wichita, Kansas. She has multi-sector experience with for-profit, not-for-profit, and the public sector and has held several key leadership positions. Brenda felt called to re-career in 2009, after she was forced to close her small business due to the economic downturn in 2008. She obtained her Master of Social Work degree from Newman University in 2011. During the past 15 years, Brenda has specialized in health and human services leadership in the public and not-for-profit sectors. She has obtained her Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential and has started Pillar 7 LLC and Private Practice. Brenda utilizes her unique business and social work skill sets to strengthen communities, businesses, and people. She has successfully led projects, contracts, and programs for 35 years.
